| The Dragon Hill crossbow shooting range has been carefully put together to be simple, safe and fun. At only £1 a go it fills a need for a cheap pocket money activity. Without the difficulty of real archery, children of all ages (including most dads) love the thrill of accuracy shooting down a small target the same way they did in the middle ages. A pound gets you four attempts, no prizes, just a cheap and fun chance to have a go. Safety. Strict laws surround the use of crossbows and our setup has been carefully researched, checked and double checked, with advice from legal advisors, Trading Standards and the Police. The crossbows themselves are CE certified toys, Just made to look better, The arrows are not the usual flimsy rubber stopper arrows that these toys are normally supplied with, and not the sharp arrows used with most have-a-go archery, but are fitted with heavy duty rubber blunts used for re-enactments, and then shot at knock down targets. This is all FULLY ENCLOSED within a medieval style tent so that no stray arrows can fly out and is therefore completely safe. Instruction and supervision is given to each customer and we are covered with public liability insurance. As members of the National market traders federation and the the Shooters rights association, we are dedicated to running a safe and professional business.
